Mrs. Brandie Williams-Macon, Principal

Brandie Williams-Macon, a St. Petersburg native, is a graduate of the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education.  She received a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University. 

Mrs. Williams-Macon comes to Lynch Elementary with 24 years of educational experience.   She spent thirteen years as a classroom teacher and eleven years as an administrator.  She has always held a firm belief that all children can and will achieve academic success.  She believes that all children should be afforded equitable opportunities for a quality education so as to become productive lifelong citizens.  These strong beliefs caused her to transition from classroom instruction to instructional leadership.  She is committed to working collaboratively with all stakeholder groups to provide a safe, caring, and challenging learning environment for each child to close the achievement gap and prepare scholars for college and their future careers. 

Mrs. Williams-Macon is a member of Florida Association of School Administrators (FASA) and Pinellas Association of School Administrators (PASA).  Professional certifications include Elementary Education (1-6), Educational Leadership (K-12), and Principal Certification (K-12).  She has also served on a number of State and District level committees including, but not limited to, FLDOE Instructional Leadership Team Initiative and Mathematics Teacher Leadership Institute.

Mrs. Tabatha Carlson, Assistant Principal

Tabatha Carlson, originally from northern Minnesota, has lived in St. Petersburg for over 20 years.  She attended the University of South Florida, St. Petersburg campus where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership.

Mrs. Carlson came to Lynch with fourteen years of experience in Pinellas County Schools.  She spent eleven of those years as a classroom teacher and three years as an instructional staff developer.  She believes every child should be seen as an individual and thrives by providing the individual needs that are necessary for each child to succeed.  Through her work as an instructional staff developer, she has helped teachers develop a classroom environment where scholars have a strong sense of belonging and high expectations.  As an administrator, Mrs. Carlson will strive to continue this work with teachers at Lynch Elementary.

Mrs. Carlson has a professional certificate including Elementary Education (K-6, Educational Leadership (K-12) with endorsements in reading and ESOL.
